Charlie And Beth were a beautiful picture of how things tought to be
They fell in love in the seconde grade like a couple on black and white TV
And by junior high we all just assumed that they`d
notice the rest of the world
But in high school he was still her man,and she was till his only girl
See,Beth was always homecoming queen and to Charlie,Beth was everything,
And to everyone else,Charlie And beth was the greatest romance we`d ever seen
They finished up with the high school scene and they started planning their weeding day
But there was one more moutaing left to climb.There was one moe hill that just got in the way
charlie knew what he had to do,and Beth had always known it too
He had to fly away from neverland if he was ever gonna make his dreams come true
Beth supported all Charlie`s dreams,and they were both sure that he`d go real far
Cause Charlie was never meant for earth, he was meant to be a big star

Now everything`s much more complicated than an first I`m sure it seems
And Charlie wasn`t about to let an ocean come between him and his drems
Of course, Beth wasn`t ecstatic, but she was sure that he`d be pack
so she booked all Charlie`s tickets and she even helped him pack
She drove him out to the JFK and saw him off at gate 128
And he had already started speaking Frech before it was time to board the plane
