He came down to earth a little baby,
Lowly in a mangers hay,
Who would guess that God in His glory,
Would present himself that way,
In fraility and weakness,
The Son of man was born a humble birth,
Yet now He lives in glory,
The Son of God and Ruler of the earth.
Heaven sings Your glory,
Holy is the Lord,
And I will join the angels,
Proclaiming Your glory.
He came down to lead us to the Father,
Make Him known to all mankind.
Showed His heart was full of mercy,
Healed the sick gave sight to the blind,
He came to be a servant,
To give His life away to set us free,
And now He reigns in glory,
Ruling in love and purity.
