Oneironaut
Oneironaut
In weariness surrendered I abandon woe and dolor
A stillness grasps this mortal coil in a swirl of form and color
As my eyes dance to summon forth the spectacle of dreaming
Cerebral waves wash me ashore, a surge of neurons gleaming
Oneironaut
Subconscious prime
This lucid sleep
Forever mine
In contrast with the waking world where will is weak and fading
Out here all things obey without a second's contemplating
Dormancy's prism breaks on pallets of my reign
The fragile shine of twilight for the Genesis I paint
I thrive in this distant world in company of solitude
And saturate the void of life with grandeur
The benevolent great tyrant I was destined to be
A radiant sun amidst my creation
The seating of my soul, a throne of reveries
I wield the scepter to invoke perfection onto me
Oneironaut
Subconscious prime
This lucid sleep
Forever mine
